Resolved Question: I want my TV to be my computer monitor. Please help me?

I have a geforce graphic card and a latest desktop from Hp. and I just bought a HDTV from a store for Christmas but I have no idea if I can put my TV as my computer monitor. I asked Fry's that if I could do that. and they told me there is no such thing as TV as a computer monitor. But I do go online and research. I do see something have their TV as monitor.
